Patient Testimonial

Anne suffered a traumatic brain injury ten years ago when she was hit by a car while riding her bicycle. When her friends found her, she had no vital signs and needed CPR to simply survive. She was flown by helicopter to a local hospital where she remained for six months, initially in a coma.

Facing partial paralysis on the left side of her body, Anne fought what she terms a "continual battle" with everyday walking. Getting in and out of the car, going into the grocery store and especially any time she entered a crowd, she had to think about how to position her foot or she would fall.

Since she has been using the WalkAide, she has found much more mobility and a return towards the way of life she had before her unfortunate accident. As you will hear in her interview, Anne again feels excitement and hope.
