Every WalkAide must be programmed and fitted by a trained clinician. WalkAide is not a "one size fits all" device. It is personalized for every pateint's individual gait, activity level and foot drop severity.
A WalkAide trained clinician uses a special programming and follow up software called WalkAnalyst to program the WalkAide to specific settings that would result in optimal outcomes.

The clinician first adjusts the electrodes and cuff placement, then program the WalkAide setting via the WalkAnalyst software |

After the initial setting, walk tests are preformed to re-adjust the WalkAide parameters for optimal outcomes. |
WalkAide is a sophisticated medical device that can only be prescribed by a physician. As with all orthoses, a thorough evaluation by a credentialed and trained medical professional will determine if WalkAide is right for a particular individual.
