WalkAide is not a "one size fits all" device. Rather, a credentialed and trained medical professional is required to fit and customize WalkAide for you. Once the medical professional positions WalkAide correctly on your leg, he or she then programs the system using a software program called WalkAnalyst.

WalkAide communicates with WalkAnalyst wirelessly using Bluetooth wireless technology. |

Once WalkAide is programmed for your specific needs, your medical professional will generally only need to make minor adjustments in the future based on changes in your muscle strength or your usage patterns. |
WalkAide is a sophisticated medical device that can only be prescribed by a physician. As with all orthoses, a thorough evaluation by a credentialed and trained medical professional will determine if WalkAide is right for a particular individual.
